Never before, nor after, has such a splendid coiffure ever entered a football pitch. Ruud Gullit was my hero in the 1990 Italy World Cup. Especially after Sweden’s abysmal results. If only I could grow hair like that. Truly magnificent. It’s like wool. You could make sweaters out of that stuff. Just sayin’.
